Creative Alliances, or CA, is a non-profit geriatric consultation and management agency. We are formally trained professionals who assist elderly or disabled adults and their families by providing individualized planning and services for short or long term solutions. CA provides solutions to help with exactly what you're needing -- whatever that may be!
We serve a large area covering Massachusetts and New England. That includes Boston, Eastern Mass, all of the Berkshire areas in Western Mass (MA), Southern Vermont (VT), Northern Connecticut (CT), and upstate Eastern New York (NY) too.

How can a Geriatric Consultation help?
A consultation involves an assessment of the current needs of an elder and all their caregivers -- family, friends, nurses, doctors, etc. The consultation is then used to assess, plan, implement, and then coordinate the future care for the elder.
Since everyone has a different situation, the geriatric care manager will initiate a discussion about options and resources available to you. They will work with you, listen to your unique situation, and develop a plan of care that is right for you and the budget. Creative Alliances can do as little-- or as much-- as you might need. As always, every senior's situation is completely different, and the consult is used to address that.
What Types of Services can you Provide for Elders?
The field of elder care management has emerged to assess, plan, implement, and coordinate the care of older adults. There is a very wide variety of services that can be provided, depending upon the individual elder's needs. Maybe you need only a one-time phone consultation or perhaps you just need to arrange for a companion.
The primary goal of all the services Creative Alliances provides is to maximize the elder's functioning and independence. Our services facilitate the delivery of health care and other needs in the most appropriate setting for each individual. Our GCMs have extensive knowledge about the costs, quality, and availability of elder services in our community. Just a few of the geriatric services that Creative Alliance can provide you are:
- Conduct care-planning assessments to identify problems, eligibility for assistance, and need for services.
- Screen, arrange, and monitor in-home help or other services.
- Assist with moving a senior person to or from a retirement complex, care home, or nursing home.
- Act as a liaison to families at a distance, making sure things are going well and alerting families to problems.
- Review financial, legal, or medical issues and offer referrals to finance specialists to avoid future problems and conserve assets.
- Provide crisis intervention.
- Offer one time or continuing counseling and support.
